1) No more old website. It was time for something new, so the entire site is now WordPress. Yes, it’s very, very plain. That may change in the future, but for now, this is all I want or need. And honestly, I like the dark text against the light background, as opposed to how it was before. I’m getting old, you know – my eyes need all the help they can get.
2) Yes, comments are back on – they’ll be moderated for the time being.
3) In the next week, I hope to figure out how to post these entries over to my Livejournal, thus eliminating the need for me to ever go over there again, except for the occasional comment on friends’ posts. Nothing against Livejournal – I just don’t go over there much anymore. I’m also working on reducing some of the time I spend participating in all this so-called “required” social media. It works for some writers to be everywhere online (it works very well, I’ve seen), but it hasn’t for me. Which is fine. I’m something of a loner in real life, and I like it that way, so it stands to reason that I’d be something of the same online.
