I'm a writer of horror, dark fantasy, and erotica, who occasionally dabbles in Lovecraft mythos. By occasionally, I mean at least 50% of the time. What can I say, it's a lot of Elder-dabbling.

I'm currently working on the manuscript for my first short story collection, tentatively titled The Engine of Desire and Other Tales, which will be published in 2010 — in addition to previously published erotica and horror, I'm adding several original stories, including an erotic novella that takes place in a late-1800's steampunk version of the Pacific Northwest (yes, it's saucy Tacoma steampunk!). I'm also working on the following projects:

• a stand-alone novel, to be finished by the end of this year and shopped to agents in 2010 — I have a couple of ideas and haven't picked one yet, so I can't yet say what it's about. I'll start writing it in August.
• a quartet of horror novellas which take place in a Lovecraftian-industrial Patagonian metropolis called Obsidia — the first novella, "Her Deepness", will be published at Subterranean Online
• I'm in the middle of research for a series of dark fantasy novels about a Victorian steampunk world inhabited by robotic women, biomechanical animals and insects, and some rather feisty Lovecraftian sea creatures
• I'm also continuing reading and research for a series of Tacoma steampunk novellas (or novels, I haven't decided yet), to be written at a much later date
